THE SHADOW OF GUILT follows Erica Falck, a celebrated true crime author whose life is shaken when the remains of her childhood friend Sara are discovered more than twenty years after her disappearance. Drawn into the investigation, Erica becomes increasingly obsessed, straining her marriage to police officer Patrik Hedström, who leads the case. As secrets from the past surface, old friends and a powerful family may be hiding the truth - and Erica’s own role in that fateful night comes to light. Obsessed with uncovering justice, she risks her marriage, her family, and even her own sanity in a gripping tale of guilt and lies, and the cost of the truth. Based on Camilla Läckberg’s internationally best-selling Fjällbacka book-series, THE SHADOW OF GUILT is a gripping standalone series.
