3. Making a Report
We request that you please provide as much detail as possible about the matter being
reported to enable efficient and prompt investigation. Reports may be submitted
anonymously, however, please note that anonymous reports may be more difficult to
investigate, and if you choose to remain anonymous, we may be unable to keep you
informed about the progress of the investigation. Reinvent Companies treat the identity of
all whistleblowers as strictly confidential.
Please note that, at the time of making your report, you must have reasonable grounds to
believe that the information concerning the suspected breach is true and that it falls within
the scope of the whistleblowing directive and applicable national legislation. You should
first report the suspected breach to the Reinvent Company. However, if the Reinvent
Company does not handle the report appropriately and within the applicable time limits; if
you have reasonable grounds to believe that the breach cannot be effectively addressed
within the Reinvent Company; or if you reasonably believe that you may be subject to
retaliation as a result of making the report, you may also report the matter directly to the
competent authority in accordance with the applicable national legislation.
4. Handling of Reports
All reports submitted through this channel are handled, despite their topic and the
Reinvent Company they regard, by Reinvent Yellow Group’s appointed whistleblowing
team, which consists of Laura Teirikko, the chief operating officer of the Group, the legal
team (Irene Hallikainen and Emma Laakkonen) and HR Director Ajan Aden. In case you
would rather report an employment-related topic to your supervisor or colleague, please do
so outside this channel for example by email.
For reports falling within the scope of the applicable whistleblower protection legislation,
which include contact details, an acknowledgement of receipt will be provided within seven
(7) days of submission, unless an acknowledgement is not required under applicable law.
Feedback on the report or the planned follow-up measures will normally be provided within
three (3) months. In duly justified cases involving particularly complex reports, this period
may be extended in accordance with applicable law.
Employment-related matters will be assessed as soon as reasonably practicable and, in
any event, within a reasonable period of time and in accordance with applicable law.
