EXCLUSIVE: Reinvent Yellow has signed deals at the European Film Market on survival thriller Frostbite and family animation Handbook For Superheroes – Red Mask.
Lukas Rinker’s Frostbite has sold to Australia & New Zealand (Eagle Ent.), Italy (Plaion), and Latin America (Great Movies).
Handbook For Superheroes is headed to Spain (Selecta), Baltics (Estin) and Eastern Europe (Prorom); while both the first film and a second Handbook title which is in developed have been sold to Benelux (Just4Kids).
Filmed last year, Frostbite sees a family trapped in a crashed cable car beneath the ice following a controlled avalanche blast that goes wrong. Producers are Tonio Kellner, Andrea Simml and Jakob Zapf, for Neopol Film and REinvent Studios.
Patrik Forsberg’s Handbook For Superheroes is based on a Swedish book franchise, about a bullied 10-year-old girl who stumbles upon a book that claims to teach 101 superpowers. Producers are Forsberg and Caroline Forsberg for Stiller Studios.
