We are proud to announce that we have picked up the upcoming feature, THE PERFECT LIE from production company HitHero Productions. A nerve-wracking thriller drama about manipulation, power and shattered illusions. Filming has just started in Copenhagen and the film will be released locally by Scanbox Entertainment in 2026.

Synopsis
Clara lives the perfect life with a flourishing career and her charming husband, Tobias. But when she one day crosses paths with Katrine, cracks begin to appear in the foundation of her entire existence. Although the two women are as different as night and day, they have one thing in common: Tobias. An unlikely alliance emerges between the two women as they try to uncover Tobias’s double life. When Clara begins to notice fractures in Katrine’s façade, she grows increasingly uncertain of whom she can trust. Could Katrine, in fact, be even more calculating than Tobias?
Julie R. Ølgaard has made a name for herself as an actress in popular titles such as Headhunters (2011) and The Killing (2007). In THE PERFECT LIE, she plays Katrine, who gets a nasty surprise when she meets her boyfriend’s other girlfriend. In 2023, Julie Ølgaard debuted as a feature film director together with Esben Tønnesen with the film “The Angel Maker”. Neel Rønholt plays the smart and energetic Clara, who suddenly begins to doubt her own perception of reality. Youssef Wayne Hvidtfeldt had his major popular breakthrough in the DR series “Prisoner” (2023). In Double Play, he provides depth to the complex and dangerously charming Tobias.
The film is produced by Anna Malmkjær Willumsen for HitHero Productions in collaboration with TV 2, Odsherred Kommune and Geopark Odsherred. Scanbox Entertainment distributes the film in Denmark. REinvent handles international sales.
