John has just been left by his girlfriend Ingrid. Alone in his flat, he begins to get to know the neighbours across the hall, the beautiful sisters Anne and Kim. They are welcoming, and they are strange, and they turn out to know a great deal about John that they have no way of knowing. As he is drawn further into their apartment, it becomes clear that he has walked into an elaborate psychological game, and that the rules were written long before he arrived.
