A free adaptation of Knut Hamsun's novel Hunger, transposed to Oslo as the coronavirus arrives in 2019/20. A penniless young artist walks a city emptying around him, hungry, proud and increasingly unmoored, as the pandemic closes every door that might have saved him. Jonathan Chedeville plays the hero and Mimmi Tamba is Ylajali, with Bjørn Sundquist, Hélen Vikstvedt, Ingar Helge Gimle and Hans Olav Brenner in support. Shot entirely on location in a deserted Oslo during lockdown, the film has already won several awards at international festivals.
