APART follows Eleni, a young woman who flees war-torn Cyprus for apartheid South Africa through an arranged marriage to a fellow Greek Cypriot. Despite being strangers, she slowly falls for him. But when an unexpected friendship with a local Black woman reveals a secret from Eleni’s past, she must make a decision that could change her life forever. Spanning continents and cultures during the political upheaval of the 1970s, APART is an emotional story of war and division through the female gaze in a film that is both timely and timeless.

Starring Academy Award nominee, Leem Lubany (Omar, 2013), Luca Pasqualino (Rivals, 2024; Snowpiercer, 2013) and Girley Jazama (Measures of Men, 2023) and written and directed by Stelana Kliris , also behind Netflix hit “Find Me Falling” (2024), this is a deeply personal project for the South African-Cypriot director based on her parents experiences as refugees. With a young, fresh cast including Luca Pasqualino, who will soon be seen as the lead in the Paramount+ series "The Day", this story has a cross-generational appeal, including Gen-Z as they continue to grapple with the same social issues today.
