Acclaimed British-Swedish actress MyAnna Buring is confirmed to star in the upcoming action thriller, ZIP WIRE from director Howard J. Ford. Shooting start is set for August 2025. REinvent International Sales further announce, that the film has been picked up by Falcon Films for the MENA countries and by Daro for German speaking territories.
MyAnna Buring is known for her role as Tissaia in the Netflix series “The Witcher” (2019–2023). MyAnna just finished filming a new lead in “Slow Horses” (2025). She can currently be seen in “The Unforgiven” (2025). Before that, she reprised her leading role in BBC’s “The Responder” (2022-2024), opposite Martin Freeman.
ZIP WIRE is the latest thrilling installment from the acclaimed writer-director duo Tom Boyle and Howard J. Ford, following the success of their previous hit, “The Ledge” (2022). Like The Ledge, ZIP WIRE explores themes of survival and human endurance and will offer a gripping thriller where survival hinges on both the mind and the will.

Synopsis
When Amy Watson was 13 years old, she watched her mother die from an incurable disease. Determined to find a cure, Amy becomes a dedicated researcher at a high-security pharmaceutical company. She struggles with OCD and a fear of heights. When her groundbreaking discovery is stolen and her partner murdered, she’s thrust into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse high in the Dolomite mountains.
