Johannes, an eccentric psychology student, takes us on a twisted journey. Together with performance artist Rakel, he forms an unconventional club with his patients to help them fight back against those who have caused them pain. As the club grows, Johannes struggles to keep it together, while inconveniently falling head over heels for Rakel.

THE DANCE CLUB marks the highly anticipated return of award-winning director and screenwriter Lisa Langseth (Pure, 2010; Euphoria, 2017), following the success of her acclaimed Netflix series Love and Anarchy (2022). The leading roles are played by the rising stars Nils Wetterholm (Young Royals, 2024) and Alva Bratt (A Part of You, 2024), supported by Pernilla August (Star Wars, 1999), Evelyn Mok (Spider-Man: Far from Home, 2019) and Mattias Varela (Narcos, 2020).
