Today REinvent has launched the poster for the upcoming Norwegian/US feature film DON’T HANG UP from director Alex Herron (LEAVE, 2021; DARK WINDOWS, 2022). DON’T HANG UP is a classic horror film featuring an up and coming cast including Claire McPartland, Brett Curtis and Siri Black Ndiaye in the lead. The film is produced by Jens Ramborg, Alex Herron, Einar Loftesnes for Element Film and is expected to premiere in cinemas in Norway in March 2025. SF Studios distributes the film in the Nordics and REinvent handles international sales.
Set in the US, the film deals with topics such as racism, injustice and loyalty – underlining Alex Herron’s talent for blending traditional horror with contemporary themes. Through a series of FaceTime conversations, the film will unfold as a heart-pounding exploration of survival in the face of unimaginable horror. Synopsis
Summer travels to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the wedding of a college friend. Her boyfriend Chris couldn’t make it, but she stays in contact with him via FaceTime. After the wedding, Summer and her two friends Vicky and Eva head back to the AirBnB they’ve rented for the weekend, unaware that their presence in the house has unleashed the ghosts of a family who were killed there during the Tulsa race massacre in 1921. Now, they’re looking for justice…
The film will be screened at the American Film Market next month at a closed market screening.

DON’T HANG UP was filmed on location in Newark, New Jersey in the summer of 2024. The film is produced by Jens Ramborg and Alex Herron for Element Film in association with Frauhaus LCC, SF Studios, REinvent Studios and Både Og AS.
