THE BIG FIX is about a man who tries to control the uncontrollable. This basedon- a-true-story series is set in the early 90’s. Bosse, a brilliant sports gambler, finds a loophole in the state-controlled betting company Tipstjänst which involves him and his friends in rigged games. Simultaneously, single mother Therese, begins working at Tipstjänst. She notices deviations in games, implying they might be rigged. A journalist starts digging and suddenly Bosse is pursued from two directions. Public officials deny all accusations that the gambling system is broken. Bosse becomes the scapegoat. In a huge slander trail, Bosse risks everything by telling the truth.

THE BIG FIX comes from creator Dennis Magnusson, co-writer of Canneseries winner “Partisan” (2020). This fast-paced drama series is directed by Academy Award nominated director, Patrik Eklund (Instead of Abrakadabra, 2009) and tells the story of a small-town boy from the very north of Sweden who wants to discover the world – but gets eaten alive by it. THE BIG FIX stars an acclaimed cast including rising star Björn Elgerd (Top Dog, 2020), Eva Melander (The Unlikely Murderer, 2020) and Josefin Asplund (Snow Angels, 2021).
