Rasmus And The Vagabond
Rasmus is a nine-year-old boy who lives in an orphanage. Things are not that bad there, but Rasmus dreams of finding parents of his own. Although childless parents do turn up now and then they always pick a little girl with curls rather than boy with straight hair.
Rasmus grows tired of waiting: he decides that the only way he is ever going to find parents who are both rich and beautiful, but on his first morning of freedom he wakes up in a barn to find that he is sharing it with Oskar the vagabond. Reluctantly Oskar agrees to let Rasmus tag long until he finds a mother and father and Rasmus’ long and eventful search starts.
