Erik who used to work as a police officer in Stockholm returns to his birthplace in the north of Sweden. His father just died and Erik decides to move into the old family house with his brother Leif. Erik soon realizes that life in the country side is quite different from the big city. Strong friendship and family ties rule and Erik soon finds himself on his own against a small, but extremely dangerous group of hunters. The hunters are a bunch of men who don’t like Erik prying into their business. The situation gets threatening and Erik has a hard time investigating the crimes. And saving his own life.
